These terms are a simple agreement between you and Tabletop Tracker (“the app”). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
The app
Tabletop Tracker is a free app for cataloguing your board game collection, tracking plays, and optionally sharing a game list with friends. Your data is stored on your device; nothing is uploaded unless you choose an action that shares it (see the Privacy Policy).
Your content
You’re responsible for the content you add — game details, photos, notes, player names, and anything you choose to publish to an online library. Only add content you have the right to use, and don’t include other people’s personal information without their consent.
The online library (optional)
If you create an online library, you’re publishing a list of your games (and a library name you choose) so that anyone with your share code can view it. You’re responsible for what you publish and who you share your code with. You can delete your online library at any time from the Library tab.
Please don’t use the app — including library names or shared content — to post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, or infringing. We may remove shared content that breaches these terms.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app or the services it relies on. In particular, don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or gain unauthorised access to the app’s backend (the Firebase project) or to other users’ data.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data (including backups) will never be lost. Keep your own backups of anything important — the app provides an export feature for exactly this reason.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including lost data or lost game collections. The app is a free hobby project.
Third-party services
The app uses BoardGameGeek’s public API (for game lookups) and Google Firebase (for the optional online library). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ own terms and policies.
Privacy
How the app handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. The latest version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
